What Your Child Will Learn
Throughout the programme, learners will participate in activities covering:
- Robotics and robot building
- Block-based coding
- Basic programming concepts
- Electronics and circuits
- Sensors, motors and other components
- Engineering and construction challenges
- STEAM-based experiments
- Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
- Logical thinking and problem-solving
- Creative design and innovation
- Teamwork and communication
Activities and projects are selected according to the learner's age and skill level.
Course Objectives
By participating in the Weekend Robotics & Coding Classes, learners will:
- Develop an early understanding of Robotics and Coding
- Learn how to turn ideas into working projects
- Improve logical and computational thinking
- Develop problem-solving skills through practical challenges
- Build creativity and confidence with technology
- Understand basic electronics and engineering concepts
- Learn to work independently and as part of a team
- Develop skills that prepare them for a technology-driven future
Hands-On Learning
Our programme focuses on learning by doing.
Children will build, experiment, code, test and improve their own projects using age-appropriate robotics kits, electronic components, coding platforms and STEAM materials.
Each term introduces different activities and challenges so that returning learners can continue developing their knowledge and progress to more advanced projects.
Age-Appropriate Learning
Activities are adapted according to the age and ability of each group.
Ages 4-7
Creative building, simple robotics, sequencing, basic coding concepts, problem-solving and STEAM activities.
Ages 8-12
Robotics projects, block-based coding, electronics, sensors, engineering challenges and introduction to AI concepts.
Why Robotics & Coding?
Robotics and coding are not only about preparing children for careers in technology. They help children develop skills they can use across different subjects and throughout their education.
Through practical activities, learners develop creativity, critical thinking, logical reasoning, teamwork, persistence and problem-solving skills while having fun and building projects they can see and interact with.
A Programme That Grows With Your Child
The Weekend Robotics & Coding Classes are designed as a continuous term-based learning programme rather than a once-off workshop.
Learners can participate every term and progressively move from introductory activities to more challenging Robotics, Coding, Electronics and AI projects as their skills develop.
Join our Weekend Robotics & Coding Classes and give your child the opportunity to explore technology through practical, creative and exciting learning experiences.
